Palawan is absolutely breathtaking! If you are interested in the beauty of the Philippines, I would highly suggest coming here! For $50 pesos a day, we were able to hire a private tour guide with a private boat to take us around every day from island to island.
*Side Note* In the Philippines, it is a sign of respect to call men that are older than you or a friend ‘Kuya’ before their name which simply translates to brother. And for women that are older than you or a friend, you would call them ‘Ate’ before their name which translates to sister. With that said our tour guide, Kuya Allen was the best!
Anyway, not only did Kuya Allen charter us to every island and take us to all of the amazing sights, but he started off my picking us up at our hotel, taking us to the market where we were able to pick out our food for the day… and while we were our exploring, he cooked our lunch on the boat for us and set up our picnic lunch every day; while even serving us coffee at the very end. When in Palawan, find you a tour guide that cooks for you, makes you coffee, takes you to beautiful places, and drives the boat while you kick your feet up and relax…
It was the BEST! He is the BEST.
I apologize in advance for the lack of quality photos I have here. This trip was a few years ago… and all I had with my was my GoPro… But hopefully one day we will be back to take quality photos!
Since Palawan is all about the scenic places, there are not any websites for these places… but hopefully these photos will inspire you to discover this beautiful island on your own!
